  近日發行全新數位 EP『少了一件牛仔褲』的閻奕格，藉由這張 EP 推出的新歌成功跳脫以往深情形象，讓大家看到不同面貌的她，EP 中的全英文單曲「Please don’t cry」歌詞版 MV 搶先曝光後讓許多歌迷們又驚又喜，興奮留言表示「這首歌的曲風太適合格格了！不說還以為是西洋天后的新歌！」節奏感強烈的「Please don’t cry」是閻奕格從出道以來第一首舞曲風格的快歌，她更睽違近十年在螢光幕前大秀舞技，特別攜手網紅嘻小瓜一起拍攝舞蹈版 MV，要讓大家眼睛一亮，展現舞感。

  「Please don’t cry」是由曾為 Twice、Red Velvet 等韓國團體打造過多首熱門歌曲的瑞典音樂人 Cazzi Opeia、Corey LeRue 和倪子岡共同譜曲填詞的全英文電子舞曲，由於歌詞內容取材自閻奕格感情上的真實經歷，因此她也親自參與了部分的歌詞創作。提及「Please don’t cry」歌曲背後的故事，閻奕格坦言自己過去在談戀愛時總是太過嚴謹，常要理性地思考後才能決定投入到一段感情當中，並分享：「我是隨著年齡的增長才跳脫自己戀愛的 SOP，有次終於試著和一位剛認識不久的男生約會，但在過程中發現他比較適合當朋友，當我想委婉拒絕他時，卻發現他好像一直沒有聽懂。」而這尷尬的約會過程，竟碰巧被倪子岡撞見，他便在一次的創作營活動上將故事寫成為閻奕格量身打造的歌曲。

  在流行的電音曲風下，「Please don’t cry」講述著勇敢果決的女孩在勸勉不適合作為戀愛對象的感性男孩，希望他不要為了這段還沒開始便結束的感情感傷與哭泣。這首歌也是閻奕格第一首收錄在自己作品中的全英文歌曲，讓從小就喜愛辣妹合唱團、克莉絲汀等歐美歌手的閻奕格非常激動：「終於擁有自己的英文舞曲了，而且我私底下就很喜歡聽節奏比較重的音樂，所以真的超級開心！」此外，她更邀請嘻小瓜為這首充滿女性態度的歌曲編排舞蹈並拍攝舞蹈版 MV，展露出少見的動感形象，談起兩人的合作，閻奕格表示自己很欣賞嘻小瓜：「他能夠精準地把我想表達的內容透過舞蹈呈現出來，合作的過程中也會讓我感到很安心、更能展現自信。」

  閻奕格透露這次必須從密集的宣傳通告中擠出空檔練舞，準備的時間比較緊湊，前後只練了三次就要正式上場拍攝，讓她覺得十分有挑戰性。MV 拍攝當天閻奕格穿上兩截式的運動背心，露出結實的川字肌，嘻小瓜則打趣地說他特地畫了比平常還淡的妝，就怕搶走女明星的風采。因為同時要與多達十個人的舞群一起跳舞，閻奕格也緊張地說：「這是我第一次拍舞蹈 MV，很害怕我忘記舞步就會害得 Dancer 老師們要一直重跳。」順利拍攝完成後工作人員大讚閻奕格很有唱跳歌手的氣勢，她才鬆了一口氣說道：「又完成了一項自己的 To-Do-List，要兼顧唱和跳是一件不容易的事情，很開心自己挑戰成功了，也期待之後能夠在舞台上表演給歌迷們看。」閻奕格『少了一件牛仔褲』EP 已在各大數位平台上架，「Please don’t cry」舞蹈版 MV 將於 3 月 26 日 22:00 在華研國際 YouTube 官方頻道首播。
